What are Ahoges, that is the question? 

According to our best friend Google (translate), Ahoge is literally translated to mean 'foolish hair'. Ahoge is a visual cue common to Japanese anime and manga. Consisting of a single cute, often long, lock of hair sticking out from the top of the head, it is most often used to identify foolish, bumbling or carefree characters.

There are many different Ahoges - long, thin, super curved, not so hair like…? Many of our beloved characters sport this distinctive characteristic!

And which is why, today we will challenge you to guess who these 10 Ahoges belong to! Can you spot your waifu/husbando's (?!) Ahoge?

1. Furukawa Nagisa – CLANNAD

First we have Furukawa Nagisa, who is the main female protagonist of Clannad! Sporting two distinctive Ahoge, her Ahoge is not like any other! (Anyone feels it look a little like a particular... insect? =X) And sadly, these cute Ahoge does not seem to be passed on to her daughter!

2. Saber – Fate Series

Here we have Saber, who is likely to be a crowd favourite (my own personal bias as well)! King Arthur, who despite her Ahoge, is not at all foolish! She is the King of Knight, the "Once and Future King"! The Ahoge only serves to make her even more popular amongst fans!

Nyaruko has got an especially lively Ahoge! What we love best is this - her heart-shaped Ahoge! Pictures speak more than a thousand words!

Our first Ikemen on the list! He sports this cute, curly Ahoge (?) off the side of his head (Can this even be called an Ahoge?). His cute looks goes together with his birght and energetic personality!

7. Koyomi Araragi – Monogatari Series
